Explanation

A non-sequitur is a statement that does not logically connect to previously established logic. Each panel is completely unrelated to the others, and each contains a different non-sequitur.

Panel 1 criticizes rich people glorifying hustle culture. Panel 2 is a play on the phrase "groupthink" and the self-appreciation found especially in Silicon Valley circles. Panel 3 shows two creatures, seemingly outnumbering the person; but the person has a gun, making their advantage dubious. Panel 9 makes pejorative use of the word "gay" in the context of gay representation.

Transcript

Nine panels, arranged in a 3x3 grid.

Panel 1: A shadowy figure says "Folks say they endure pain to reach pleasure... Strange how it's the opposite for me." A teardrop-headed humanoid responds, "ur rich tho".

Panel 2: Two men in glasses conversing. The first says "I'll bring all world most smartest guys in 1 bigbigbig group it named GROUP THINK.", and the other simply responds with "im in".

Panel 3: Two quadrupedal creatures stand in front of a stick person with a gun. The creatures are saying "you're outnumbered".

Panel 4: A group of people on a staircase, separated by a wall. A person in the center exclaims "Waitt i think i loved the idea of her more than i loved her".

Panel 5: A conversation between a silhouette of a man in a hat and a block-headed silhouette with a slot for the eyes. The second silhouette says "My tap is very slow", and the other responds with "it's teaching u patience".

Panel 6: Two abstract people; one in the back, throwing their hands up, and one in the front, seemingly confused. The first exclaims "Life was always hard!", and the other responds "And yet you made it harder?".

Panel 7: A woman, presumably submerged in some sort of liquid, holding a flower. She says "they poured lava on me i dont care anymore".

Panel 8: Two crudely drawn mouse-like creatures. The second has a pronounced rump, and says to the other "your ass is so flat it's fatphobic".

Panel 9: A man leans forward, saying "ur our gay representation", followed up by "by gay i mean lame".
