Explanation
The name of the comic is based on the fact that the words "people" and "peephole" sound very similar to each other, and can even sound the same when said out loud very fast (it could be said that they are homophones).
The people from the peephole show the woman, who is implied to be working on something related to space based on the painting of a rocket, a picture of "a planet that looks just like them". The view through the door's peephole - a bright orb showing an orb-like projection of the outside, with the rest of the view being completely dark save for floating dust - resembles the view of a planet in space, with stars around it.
